Charlie Vanden Burgt and the Little Chute Mustangs offense used big plays to lead them to victory against Fox Valley Lutheran. Vanden Burgt connected on two big touchdown passes on their first two drives to lead them to a 33-7 win.
Both Kimberly and Little Chute High Schools were presented an award for excellence this month by the WIAA. The two schools were among the 39 schools represented during the last school year.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts golf team had four scores in the top 10 during the Fox Valley Association conference meet at Chaska Golf Course on Sept. 22. Charlie Clinefelter led the way with an 85 to help lead the team towards a conference title at the event.

Kimberly senior Seth Miron and Ethan Criter gave the Papermakers the early jolt on Friday night. The two connected on the first two scores for Kimberly as they improved to 6-0 with a 41-21 win at Papermakers Stadium.
New Little Chute head boys soccer coach Jordan Demerath reached an important milestone in his coaching career. Demerath added his first win as a head coach last week in a win against Berlin.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls volleyball team is hitting on all cylinders. The team earned a win over Hortonville last week at home and went 4-1 in a tournament in Monona Grove.
