Senior Aaron Schimke continues to add first place finishes in his career. Schimke ran a first place time, while the Kaukauna boys took fourth with 79 points in the Shawano invite on Sept. 10.
Kaukauna’s boys volleyball team started its defense of its Fox Valley Association championship on Sept. 6, beating Appleton West in four games, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, and 25-19.
Seth Miron added to his touchdown totals in Kimberly’s 42-7 win over Oshkosh North on Sept. 2 at Papermakers Stadium. Miron threw three touchdowns with two in the second quarter of the win.
The North Eastern Conference and Bay Conference had a unique arrangement this football season. Each conference has six schools, leaving them with four non-conference games to play.

The Little Chute Mustangs boys soccer team had their opportunities in their loss to Freedom last week. The Mustangs had five shots from the end of the first half to the beginning of the second half in their 2-0 loss to Freedom at home.
UW-Green Bay commit Kaitlin Schulz continues to be a big part of Kimberly’s volleyball success. Schulz recorded 21 kills against Appleton East on Sept. 8 in a three set win (25-23, 25-18, 25-14).

After following up a tough loss this week against Appleton North, the Kimberly Papermakers boys volleyball team bounced back with a 3-1 second place performance last week in the FVA tournament in Kaukauna.
Kimberly’s singles tennis pairs were the high point this week for the Papermakers tennis team. Julia Gurholt, Lauren Heckert and Kate McGinnis all earned wins in the Sweet 16 tournament in Milwaukee last week.
