The Kimberly Papermakers boys soccer team had a hard fought match against Fond du Lac last week. In the Sept. 1 match, both teams had 10 shots as the Papermakers had eight on goal in the 3-3 tie.
Nadia Roemer and Logan Maass led the way for Little Chute last week in their conference opener. Maass had 17 digs, while Roemer had 10 in a three set loss to Freedom on Sept. 1.
Senior leadership was a key for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls volleyball team last week. Paige Miller and Taylor Tetzlaff both grabbed double digit kills in Kaukauna’s three set win over Appleton West on Sept. 1.
Kevin McGrath and Aaron Nelson both had double digit digs as Kimberly earned a hard fought win over Cedarburg on Aug. 29. McGrath had 21, while Nelson had 14 digs and 42 assists in a five set win (25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13).
After his first game as head coach, Jordan Demerath definitely sees where his team can improve. The team suffered a 7-0 loss to conference rival Wrightstown on Aug. 30.

Sonja Mau plays against Appleton East on Aug. 29. Mau and her doubles teammate Abby Kallio fell in no. 1 doubles this week for the Papermakers.
Mason Tienor helped lead the way for the Kaukauna boys volleyball team this past week. Tienor had 24 kills, seven aces, and five blocks in the Ghosts’ first four games of the season.
Little Chute not only notched their first win on their new turf on Friday night, but the Mustangs also added their first win ever against Xavier as the team got their second win of the season.
Taylor Mars led the way with last week for the Little Chute golf team. Mars posted the team’s top score in a conference triangular on Aug. 24 on the Hilly Haven Golf Course with a 49.
Ava Bloch led the way again for the Kaukauna golf team as she finished with the fifth best nine hole score in school history last week. Bloch had a 38 on Countryside Golf Course on Aug. 23.
