Ghosts narrowly take down Kimberly in boys’ golf matchup

The Kaukauna and Kimberly boys’ golf teams squared off for the first time early in the spring season Thursday in chilly conditions with some light rain at Countryside Golf Course, and led by a well-balanced effort by all five starters, the Ghosts came away with a narrow 178-181 win.

Little Chute baseball begins season 2-1 with two wins over Lux-Casco

Sandwiched between wins over Luxemburg-Casco, the Little Chute baseball team took a 7-3 lead after the first inning but allowed eight Menasha runs in the fifth to eventually fall 11-9 as the Mustangs began the 2021 spring season 2-1.

Kaukauna softball sweeps double header to begin season


Andrew Hanlon photo/The Kaukauna softball team won two games Saturday to begin the spring 2-0. The Ghosts beat Westosha Central 19-3 after scoring 15 runs in the top of the third inning.
After a season-opening double header at Escanaba was cancelled, the Kaukauna softball team finally got on the diamond to officially start the year Saturday at Westosha Central High School.

Ghosts’ baseball ends first week of season on a high note in 17-3 win

After losing its first three games of the 2021 spring campaign, the Kaukauna baseball team responded with a vengeance in the second game of a double header Saturday, racking up 11 hits and beating Lakeland 17-3 for its first victory of the year.

Dominant second half leads Kimberly to matchup with Fondy

Two touchdowns from Caleb Frazer and a rushing touchdown from quarterback Caden Pendleton took a 14-14 game at halftime and turned it into a 35-14 Kimberly lead less than two minutes into the fourth quarter as the Papermakers controlled the entirety of the second half Friday in a home win over Neenah.

Kimberly High School Hires Jon Murphy as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach

Kimberly High School has announced former Seymour Head Coach Jon Murphy as the Papermakers' new boys' basketball coach. Murphy is a 3-time state champion and has amassed more than 600 total wins.

Makers wrap up another conference title after blowing out North

A 31-yard touchdown run by Appleton North’s Cal Martine cut Kimberly’s lead to 17-7 with 4:20 left in the second quarter of Friday night’s game between the Papermakers and the Lightning. Up until that point, Kimberly’s defense had stymied the North offense for most of the first half.
