Every year, the Kimberly and Sun Prairie baseball teams schedule a doubleheader, which alternate locations.
The nonconference tilt is a win-win for both highly-successful programs.

A busy spring continued as the Mustangs played four games last week, and despite losing the week’s finale to Clintonville, earned their first win of the season with an 8-4 victory against Waupaca Monday evening.

Little Chute was paced by Laken Dercks’ 89 as the Mustangs shot a team total of 377 to finish sixth at the 2021 Heart of the Valley Invite at Royal St. Patricks Golf Club.

The Kimberly boys’ golf team grabbed a second-place finish at last Wednesday’s Heart of the Valley Invite at Royal St. Patrick’s Golf Course and then rolled to a 15-stroke win over Appleton East in Fox Valley Association play the following day at Countryside.

Gary was presented with a commemorative plaque. Event and team winners were awarded medals and plaques with Gary’s likeness.

The Kaukauna boys and girls track teams both made the short trip to Little Chute for the Mustangs’ annual spring invite, this year renamed the Gary Reybrock Invitational, and ran away from the field as both teams came home with first-place finishes.

The Mustangs’ annual home invitational — this year christened the Gary Reybrock Invitational — featured nine teams from around the state, and with 138.5 points and 160 points, respectively, the Little Chute boys and girls both finished second on their home turf, so to speak, Saturday.
