Kimberly baseball remains undefeated with two more wins

Behind two stellar performances on the mound from three different pitchers, the Kimberly baseball team allowed just two runs in two wins last week to move to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 to begin Fox Valley Association play: a shutout win at home against Fond du Lac Tuesday and a win against Appleton East Saturday.

Kaukauna scores first, but Kimberly girls beat Ghosts 3-1

The Kaukauna girls’ soccer team opened the scoring in last Tuesday night’s matchup with Kimberly at Papermaker Stadium in both teams’ first game of the regular season, but the Makers responded with three unanswered goals to eventually take care of the Ghosts 3-1.

Little Chute baseball moves to 6-1 overall after undefeated week

The Mustangs’ baseball team won all four of its games last week to move to 6-1 overall on the year. With two wins against Marinette and two more over Oconto Falls, Little Chute also remains unbeaten in the North Eastern Conference with a 6-0 record.

The Kimberly baseball team got its season off to a quick start Saturday morning as the Papermakers used a four-run first inning to cruise to a 9-3 win over Brookfield East at Sunset Park.
