The Little Chute boys’ led 32-23 at halftime of last Wednesday night’s North Eastern Conference matchup on the road at Wrightstown. The Mustangs, who were 5-1 in the conference heading into the game, looked like they were on their way to moving to 6-1.

Little Chute wrestling cruises to 48-18 win

The Mustangs’ wrestling team moved to 2-1 on the year with a 30-point road win against Clintonville/Marion last Tuesday.

The teams traded wins early on as Little Chute’s Bryan Rodriguez took care of Eli Kendl by pin in just 1 minute, 46 seconds before Clintonville/Marion’s Ethan Masiarchin beat Logan Jansen by pin at 152 in 1:57.

Kimberly wrestling falls to Bay Port 38-28

The Papermakers’ wrestling team welcomed in the No. 12-ranked team in Division 1 last Tuesday night in Bay Port, hoping to challenge itself for the first time this season.

Kimberly led late in the dual, but the Pirates were able to pick up two pins in the final two matches to earn a 38-28 win.

Ghosts lose two road games last week, at Neenah and at FDL

NEENAH — The wheels fell off in the second half of Kaukauna’s boys basketball game on Wednesday night against the Fox Valley Association’s first-place team, Neenah.

The Rockets got out to a good start and were never seriously threatened in an 87-43 win.

Little Chute girls’ offense remains stagnant as Mustangs fall to 0-3
