The Kimberly Papermaker wrestling squad continues to improve each year under head coach Ben Engelland.

The Makers had two wrestlers advance to individual state last year in Trey King (160) and Deiondre Williams (182). Both return for their senior seasons in 2020-21.

More than any other sport on the high school calendar, wrestling has the most regulations handed down by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Senior Tate Huss was named the North Eastern Conference’s Defensive Back of the Year in 2020, leading the way for four Little Chute players who were named to the NEC’s First-Team All-Conference squads.

Huss was a unanimous selection on defense and as a wide receiver on offense.

The Little Chute football team got a rare opportunity Friday night to do something that not a lot of other teams in the state were able to — play its season finale.

Kaukauna’s Bailey Bidwell, Ava Bloch and Ronnie Isselmann were all named academic all-state last month by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin.
