Kaukauna’s Karly Meredith had two double digit strike games including 22 against Neenah before the Ghosts earned their 100th consecutive win last week.
The Kimberly girls track and field team earned a win in the DeMerit Invite in Bay Port last week. The Papermakers scored 115.75 points, while Kaukauna scored 109.25. Kaukauna’s boys team took third with 90 points, while Kimberly’s boys team took seventh with 75.
The Little Chute Mustangs track and field team had a solid trio post multiple top three finishes in their conference pentangular in Freedom last week. Zuzanna Mosienska, Owen Butkovich and Griffin Vanden Heuvel all had multiple finishes in the top three in the meet.
Little Chute softball coach Travis Pfrang thought last week that the Mustangs played better defensively despite losses to Waupaca, Freedom and Wrightstown.
Upperclassmen leadership continued last week for the Kimberly golf team as Chance Rill and Aiden Cudney continue to put up good scores for the Papermakers.
Bron Schaefer added another impressive pitching performance to his season last week. Schaefer struck out 13 in Kaukauna’s 3-0 win over Oshkosh North last week.
Kathryn Van Handel had the big week for the Kimberly softball team. The senior had four hits including three hits in Kimberly’s win over Appleton North.
