Both of Little Chute’s track and field teams won last weekend at the Gary Reybrock Invitational. The boys scored 126.5 points and were over a point ahead of Sheboygan North, while the girls scored 161 points and were 20 points ahead of Fox Valley Lutheran.

Verstegen and Effa get two first place finishes in conference meet for Little Chute track and field

Kara Verstegen and Cooper Effa led the way last week for the Little Chute Mustangs track and field teams as they ran in a pentangular at Waupaca. Verstegen won the long jump and triple jump, while Effa won both the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles for the Mustangs.

Both Kimberly lacrosse teams earn non-conference wins

Senior Megan Gehrt play a key role for the Kimberly girls lacrosse team in their home opening win over Sun Prairie last week at Papermaker Stadium. Gehrt scored five goals in Kimberly’s 14-4 win as they earned their first win of the season.
