Haley Stannard and Alejandro Pagan-Vega made their mark on the Gil Frank invite last week for the Kimberly Papermakers. Pagan-Vega took first in two events for the Papermakers, while Stannard took first in the long jump and helped the relay teams post top finishes in the meet.

Cal Van Rossum was Little Chute’s winner in the Gil Frank invite last week. Van Rossum won the high jump with a leap of 6-2, while Cooper Effa had a fifth place jump of 5-10 in the event.

Brady Koester and Sawyer Deering delivered two big pitching performances last week for the Kimberly Papermakers baseball team. Both struck out nine in shut out wins for the team before the team’s undefeated start to the season ended with a loss to Neenah.
