Kimberly boys golf headed to first ever Division 1 sectional in program history

The Kimberly boys golf team made history as they won their first ever Division 1 sectional last week at the Fox Valley Golf Club. The Papermakers edged out West De Pere by seven strokes as they won the regional with a 310 score.

The Kimberly boys track and field team took second at last week’s conference meet at Fond du Lac High School. The boys finished the meet with 127 points, while the girls took third with 117 points.

Vanden Burgt helps Little Chute secure conference title with 11 strikeout performance

Charlie Vanden Burgt showed his senior leadership as he helped the Little Chute Mustangs baseball team earn their first conference title in 38 years. The senior struck out 11 and allowed four hits in their second win over Luxemburg-Casco last week.

Sportsmanship added a new ring to the Kimberly and Kaukauna rivalry last week. At last week’s conference track meet at Fond du Lac High School, intially both teams thought they were tied and there was a coin flip for who would take the plaque home that night.

Kimberly golf wins Heart of the Valley Invite

The Kimberly Papermakers golf team beat Wrightstown by four strokes at this year’s Heart of the Valley Invite last week at Wander Springs. The Papermakers had 318 strokes, which was four strokes ahead of Wrightstown in the meet.
