Kimberly’s Breanna Wilson showed her leadership skills for the Papermakers girls soccer team last week. Wilson had a hat trick in Kimberly’s 4-0 win over Hortonville and scored the team’s lone goal in their regional final win over De Pere.
The Kimberly Papermakers baseball team came up on the right end of the things despite an 11 error game combined from them and the Bay Port Pirates last week.
DE PERE – It was a tough loss for the Kaukauna Ghosts baseball team to take at the WIAA Division 1 Baseball Regional Final at De Pere High School on Thursday afternoon.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys lacrosse team saw their season end with a loss in the playoffs. Despite the Papermakers using rallies in the third and fourth periods, the team fell short with a 15-9 loss as Jax Luedke, John Hansen and Ryan Ostermann each had two goals in the loss.
Amber Gerrits capped off her Kaukauna track career with a podium finish in the 100 meter hurdles. The Winona State commit took fourth with a time of 14.84 in the event and took 10th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.95.
The Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook varsity basketball tournament brings 85 teams to Kaukauna this weekend with all of our area teams participating during the tournament held on June 13-15 at Kaukauna High School and St. Ignatius School.
