Tennessee commit Sawyer Deering was both a factor at the plate and on the mound last week for the Kimberly Papermakers baseball team. The senior hit a home run and struck out seven on the mound in Kimberly’s conference opening win over Neenah at home.
Lily Boyle found her groove at the plate last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts softball team. Boyle had 14 hits last week as the Ghosts improved their record to 5-0 on the season.
The Little Chute boys track and field team took first at the Gary Reybrock invite last week. The boys had 120.5 points, while the girls took second with 127 points.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts tennis team is looking to gain experience after graduating the majority of the experienced players from last year’s team. The Ghosts graduated eight players from last year’s team, and only bring back two returning starters.
After one of their most successful seasons in the last 30 years, the Kaukauna girls soccer team is hoping to be more consistent this season. The Ghosts lost only three losses in conference last season.
Little Chute’s Ashley Wilson continues to put up good finishes for Mustangs track and field. The senior took second in the 3200 meter run with a finish of 11:49.34 at last week’s small school invite at UW-Oshkosh’s Kolf Sports Center.
The Kaukauna boys golf team is aiming to finish in the top half of the FVA this spring. The Ghosts will need to lean on their top three golfers in Jonah Roehrig, Bax Benson and Maverik Kelderman to make that happen.
Despite losing three all-conference seniors from last year’s team, the Kimberly Papermakers boys golf team is still aiming for a conference championship this season.
