The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts softball team has been impressive lately as they haven’t allowed a run in their last five games. The Ghosts added two more to that last week with wins over Oshkosh West and Neenah.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts baseball team fought hard in some close games last week. The Ghosts went 2-1 in their games last week with all three being decided by one run.
“Overall, the team is playing really well,” head coach Mike Jenkins said.
The Kimberly Papermakers softball team used their offense to win a tournament in Stevens Point last weekend. The Papermakers scored 26 runs combined in wins over Westosha Central and Stevens Point.
Kimberly alum and UW-Whitewater sophomore Josie Hammen pushed her season win total to 10 last week. The former Papermakers pitcher earned two more wins including a five hit shutout against WIAC rival UW-Oshkosh.
Kylie Schwalbach had an impressive showing in a 12-0 win for the Little Chute girls soccer team last week. The sophomore had seven goals in the road win as they earned their first win of the season.
The Kimberly Papermakers baseball team opened last week with offensive explosions in conference play before taking losses to Appleton North and Monona Grove.
It was a challenging week last week for the Kimberly Papermakers girls soccer team as they opened the conference season with a win over Appleton West before falling to the top team in Division 2 in Plymouth.
Last week started well for the Kaukauna Ghosts baseball team as they got wins conference wins against Fond du Lac and Appleton West before getting losses against Hudson and St. Thomas More over the weekend.
