After losing to UW-Whitewater earlier in the week, Kimberly alum Logan Pearson and the UW-Platteville Pioneers bounced back with an 84-54 win over UW-Stout last week. Pearson had 18 points on 8-for-10 shooting in the win after scoring nine points in the loss to the Warhawks.
Senior leadership was once again present for the Kimberly boys basketball team last week. Landon Van Offeren, Mikey Wildes and Ben Grabner all made an impact for the Papermakers in losses to Neenah and Whitnall.
Sophomore Aubree Roche made an impact from three point range for the Little Chute girls basketball team last week. Roche hit three point attempts in both of the team’s losses against Fox Valley Lutheran and Wrightstown.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls basketball team is continuing to see their senior leadership show. Seniors Addison Baumgart, Savanna Robinson and Jozy Ebben all scored in double figures last week for the Ghosts.
When Kaukauna and Oshkosh North get together, you figure there are going to be a lot of points scored, and that was the case Friday night when the Ghosts outscored the Spartans 104-93.
The Kimberly Papermakers girls basketball team continued their successful start to the season with their 14th win In a row last week. The Papermakers used another big run to start the game as they earned their 11th conference win of the season last week with a win over Neenah.
