Michigan represented at this year’s Cheesehead wrestling invite

There will be a new state involved at this year’s Cheesehead wrestling invite in Kaukauna. Lowell, Mich., joins the invite this year as the annual invite will now have nine teams represented and there are also four or five returning champions from prior Cheesehead invites.

A 13-0 run in the middle of the second half brought the Kaukauna boys basketball team from a one-point deficit to a 12-point advantage, leading the Galloping Ghosts to an 81-73 win over the Hortonville Polar Bears on Parents Night at KHS on Friday, Dec. 20.

Kirchner scores 10 for Little Chute girls in loss to Luxemburg-Casco

Little Chute junior Miranda Kirchner continued to step up her numbers for the Mustangs girls basketball team last week. In a 67-24 loss to Luxemburg-Casco, she scored 10 of Little Chute’s points as they fell to 0-7 on the season.
