Kaukauna baseball wins season finale, finishes fourth in FVA

The Kaukauna baseball team finished a busy last week 3-2, but capped off the year with a victory to earn a 10-8 record in the Fox Valley Association, good for fourth place in the conference.
The Ghosts drew a four seed in a Division 1 regional and hosted Appleton North last night but fell 4-2.

Kimberly girls’ soccer moves on to sectionals with 3-0 win

The Kimberly girls’ soccer team was crowned regional champions Saturday evening as the Papermakers cruised to a 3-0 win over fourth-seeded Bay Port.
Saturday’s game was scoreless heading into the second half. Both teams still had yet to find the back of the net as the game headed into the final 15 minutes.

Kaukauna girls’, boys’ track both finish second at FVA Championships

The Kaukauna girls’ track team finished with a final score of 151, just 10 points behind first-place Kimberly, at last Monday’s Fox Valley Association Championship Meet at Appleton East High School.

Kimberly boys’, girls’ track teams win conference titles


Brian Roebke photo/Kimberly’s McKenzie Vosters was part of a Fox Valley Association champion 4x200-meter relay team and also finished third in the triple jump at last Monday’s FVA Girls’ Championship Meet at Appleton East.
The Kimberly girls travelled to Appleton East for their Fox Valley Association Conference Meet last Monday, while the boys went to Neenah, and both teams returned home with FVA titles.
The girls finished with a team score of 161, besting second-place Kaukauna by 10 points. Fond du Lac was a distant third with 107.

Kaukauna Ghosts’ golf scramble set for June 26

The 7th Annual Kaukauna Golf scramble takes place Saturday, June 26, at Countryside Golf Course in Kaukauna. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start time. 
This event benefits the Kaukauna High School boys and girls golf teams.

Golf season will continue for Kimberly freshman Cudney

Kimberly’s Aiden Cudney shot 74 at a Division 1 sectional held at Thornberry Creek Golf Course in Oneida last Tuesday, giving the freshman his initial berth in a high school state tournament after attempting to qualify for the U.S. Open earlier this year.

Kaukauna softball wins 14th consecutive to clinch FVA title

Makers, Ghosts boys’ tennis teams end season at FVA tourney

After the conclusion of Saturday’s Fox Valley Association Conference Tournament, the Kimberly boys’ tennis team cemented a fourth-place FVA finish, while the Kaukauna boys ended the season fifth.
The Ghosts brought home four top-five finishes as well as a seventh-place finish Saturday.

Makers’ softball routs West before falling to Polar Bears

After Tuesday’s loss to Kaukauna opened the week, the Kimberly girls’ softball team went on the road and cruised to an easy 13-2 win at Appleton West before falling 5-2 at Hortonville to end last week.
