Little Chute boys’ golf finishes 10th at last week’s NEC mega meet

The Mustangs finished 10th at the NEC’s penultimate mega meet held at Riverside Golf Course in Clintonville last Monday.
Little Chute finished with an overall team score of 395, led by Steven Haack’s 96.
Laken Dercks shot 98, Hunter Janssen shot 99 and Tanner Effa finished with a 102 for the Mustangs.

Maker girls’ soccer just three points behind FVA-leading Patriots

The Papermakers’ girls’ soccer team won two Fox Valley Association games — Tuesday against Hortonville and Thursday against Oshkosh West — to remain unbeaten in the conference at 4-0-1. Kimberly began its week with a 5-1 non-conference win at De Pere.

Little Chute girls’ soccer scores late to beat Waupaca

The Little Chute track teams travelled to Waupaca for a North Eastern Conference triangular that also included Freedom, with both the boys and girls finishing second behind the Irish.
Gavin Fritsch won the discus and finished second in the shot put to lead the boys.

The Kimberly softball team shut out Oshkosh West at home Tuesday evening and then cruised to a 14-2 win on the road at Appleton North Thursday before ending its week by going 1-1 in a doubleheader in Stevens Point Saturday.

Ghosts’ softball finishes week 2-1 after heartbreaker at Neenah


File photo/Kaukauna catcher Anna LaCount had a solo home run in the Ghosts’ win at home over Fond du Lac last week and had a grand slam in the team’s win on the road against the Cardinals Monday.
The Kaukauna softball team finished last week 2-1 with 16-0 and 5-0 wins against Fond du Lac, with a one-run heartbreaking loss at Neenah sandwiched in between.

Kaukauna baseball loses twice to begin week before blowing out Appleton West

The Kaukauna baseball team played three times last week and lost its first two games, on the road at Appleton East and then at home to Oshkosh North, but capped off the week with a dominant performance in an 11-1 home victory against Appleton West on Friday.
