Kimberly girls tie for first in Appleton, boys first at Oshkosh quad before both teams win FVA

The Kimberly girls’ and boys’ track teams both took home FVA titles Tuesday night, but the teams also split up last Tuesday with the girls heading to an FVA quad at Appleton West and the boys to an FVA quad at Oshkosh West.

Ghosts continue walk-off theme in two more wins last week

The Kaukauna baseball team earned an upset, walk-off win over Hortonville on May 24 and made it three walk-off victories in two weeks with two more final at-bat wins, first against Appleton North Tuesday and then Appleton East Friday. 
The Ghosts ended the week with a 7-4 loss at Oshkosh West on Saturday.

Kimberly baseball holds onto FVA lead with wins at Neenah, West before dramatic walkoff win over Hortonville


Andrew Hanlon photo/Kimberly senior Cal McGinnis earned the Papermakers at least a share of the Fox Valley Association title with a walk-off grand slam Tuesday night at home against Hortonville.
The Kimberly baseball team won its sixth and seventh consecutive games last week, sandwiched around a game against Kaukauna that was rained out, as the Papermakers kept pace with Hortonville and stayed two games ahead of the Polar Bears in the loss column to remain in first place in the Fox Valley Association.

Little Chute boys, girls both finish third at NEC Championships

Both the Little Chute boys’ and girls’ track teams brought home third-place finishes after the North Eastern Conference Championship meet at Fox Valley Lutheran High School Friday. The girls finished with a team score of 117.5, while the boys finished with a team score of 84.5.

Kimberly’s Cudney, Ghosts’ Knapp advance to golf sectionals

The Kimberly and Kaukauna boys’ golf teams played in a Division 1 regional at Ledgeview Golf Course in De Pere last Tuesday, and as the Ghosts finished fifth overall as a team and Kimberly sixth, both Kaukauna’s and the Papermakers’ team seasons came to an end.
