The Kaukauna golf team didn’t let the weather faze them as they earned a big conference win last week against Fond du Lac on Country Side Golf Course. The Ghosts edged out the conference contending Cardinals by eight strokes in a 180-187 win.
Karly Meredith started out her junior season for Kaukauna softball with continued dominance on the mound. The Virginia commit threw 45 strikeouts as the Ghosts have started the season with a 5-0 record.
The Kimberly Papermakers tennis team is looking for players like Aiden Meixl to help lead the team this season. The team brings back two seniors and head coach Robert Henshaw hopes they set the standard.
Vincent Terry will play a key part in the success of Kaukauna tennis this season. Last year, Terry was one of their best singles player for the Ghosts as the team brings back a lot of experience from their singles lineup from last season.
Kaukauna’s Jade Breckheimer gets to live out his collegiate athletic goal the next few years. The senior signed his letter of intent last week to play Division 1 volleyball at Quincy University in Illinois.
Emily McCarthy started the Kimberly girls soccer season on a good note as she scored the first hat trick of the season for the team. McCarthy scored two of her three goals in the first half as Kimberly earned a 7-1 win over Verona before falling to Waunakee last Saturday.
