Zwiers takes first in Denmark golf meet

Senior Jacob Zwiers took first last week for the Little Chute golf team as they tied with Wrightstown in a conference meet at Twin Oaks Golf Course. Zwiers had a score of 76 in the meet as the Mustangs tied with Wrightstown with 357 strokes.

Duke Commit Kon Knueppel II swept the major awards at last weekend’s 55th annual Holy Cross Tournament. Knueppel won both the most popular player award and the most valuable player award at this year’s tournament.

Vanden Burgt pitches one hitter for Little Chute Mustangs

Little Chute senior pitcher Charlie Vanden Burgt started the Mustangs baseball season on a big note. The senior took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before giving up a one out double as he struck out 10 in a 10-0 win over Waupaca at Capital Credit Union Park last weekend.

Campbell Roberts added some hardware to her senior season last weekend. The Indiana State commit took home a state title in the pole vault at the WIAA indoor state championships at UW-Whitewater last Saturday.

Kimberly boys track takes first at Red Hawk Challenge, while girls take second

The Kimberly boys track and field took first in the Red Hawk Challenge last week at Ripon College. The boys finished with 101 points, which was almost 10 points ahead of second place finisher Kaukauna.

Kaukauna girls win Red Hawk challenge, while boys finish second

The Kaukauna girls track team earned another win this week as they won the Red Hawk Challenge in Ripon. The girls finished with 119.25 points, which was seven points ahead of Kimberly.
