Kimberly alum Logan Pearson helped the UW-Platteville men’s basketball team reach the Sweet Sixteen last weekend. The Pioneers won two double digit games in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament held at home on Bo Ryan Court against Bethany Lutheran and Loras College.
Kimberly multisport athlete Thomas Meyers has made his decision on where he will play his college basketball. The senior has committed to play basketball at St. Norbert College next fall.

Turnovers doomed the Little Chute Mustangs boys basketball team last week in their regional final loss to Kiel. The Mustangs had nine turnovers and didn’t capitalize on missed shots by Kiel in the second half of the 67-57 loss.

OSHKOSH - A first half run doomed the Kimberly Papermakers girls basketball team last week. As they focused on Hartford’s two best players, the role players hit their shots from downtown as the Orioles used a 12-0 run to hand Kimberly a sectional semifinal exit.
MADISON – For Kaukauna wrestling, they wanted to prove they could still get the hardware despite having a young team this season. The Ghosts accomplished the feat last week as team grabbed a 36-27 win in the team state championship over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln.
