Kimberly alum Pearson helps lead UW-Platteville to Sweet Sixteen

Kimberly alum Logan Pearson helped the UW-Platteville men’s basketball team reach the Sweet Sixteen last weekend. The Pioneers won two double digit games in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament held at home on Bo Ryan Court against Bethany Lutheran and Loras College.

Kaukauna’s Xiong takes 26th at state gymnastics meet

Kaukauna’s Athena Xiong was the lone Ghosts gymnast at the state meet last week. Xiong took 26th on the balance beam with a final score of 7.5333. 
She was the first state representative for Kaukauna gymnastics in more than 10 years.

MADISON – For Kaukauna wrestling, they wanted to prove they could still get the hardware despite having a young team this season. The Ghosts accomplished the feat last week as team grabbed a 36-27 win in the team state championship over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln.
