Taycen Hungerford made an impact on the mound and at plate last week for the Kaukauna Angels. Hungerford struck out five on the mound and had six hits in last week’s action.
Garrett Johnson was the standout for the varsity legion team last week. Johnson had four hits during the team’s games as the team currently sits at 2-4-1 on the season.
After transferring from Appleton North, Owen Jenkins will add a family tie to the Kaukauna baseball program. Jenkins will get to spend his senior year playing for his uncle Mike, who will be in his second year as head coach of the Galloping Ghosts.

Kaukauna’s Andrea Mau made her mark on the Special Olympic meet in Whitewater. With the support of her family including her sister, Ava, the 27-year old earned a third place medal in the 50 meter run.
The Kaukauna Angels Legion baseball team experienced both sides of extra innings baseball last week. The Angels suffered an extra inning loss to Bay Port before handing Oshkosh a 10 inning loss last week.
Little Chute track and field headlined this year’s conference honors for the Mustangs. The track team had three student athletes get player of the year honors this spring.
