The Papermakers continued last week with solid hitting performances from Braeden Ellefson and Ryan Halfmann in a 10-0 win at home against Oshkosh North. Halfmann had three hits, while Ellefson had two as Kimberly had nine hits in the victory.

Kaukauna and Little Chute’s golf teams both battled it out on a wet course last week in the Seymour Thunder invite at Crystal Springs Golf Course. Kaukauna took third in the meet with 324 strokes, while Little Chute had 371.

College track update:Gavin Fritsch wins WIAC title in hammer throw

Little Chute alum Gavin Fritsch earned a conference title last week for UW-Oshkosh. Fritsch had a first place throw of 59.43 in the hammer throw and took second in the discus with a throw of 52.92 meters at last week’s WIAC outdoor meet.

The Kimberly Papermakers boys lacrosse team had two big offensive showings last week. The Papermakers scored 15 goals in two of their wins last week as they improved to 8-4 on the season.
